The Claimant may submit any of these documents supporting Florida residency; however, only documents in the Claimant’s name and supporting 12 months or more prior to the term seeking residency will be used to verify Florida residency. WebA Florida \u201cresident for tuition purposes\u201d is a person who has, or a dependent person whose parent or legal guardian has, established and maintained legal residency in Florida for at least twelve (12) consecutive months preceding the first day of classes of the term for which Florida residency is sought.
