Surprisingly my oily skin does much better with a cream/lotion or a light oil. Also any moisturiser you apply should be on damp skin, it helps much better and doesn’t sit on top as much. My skin tone is very dry especially after showering and it is annoying that i can't stand hydrated without worsening my acne.

I personally use cetaphil daily moisturizer after the shower (mixed with a bit of hyaluronic acid from the ordinary while skin is damp), and the cerave lotion at bedtime followed with 2 drops of facial oil ( it changes but I’m currently using the biossance with squalene, vitamin c, and rose hip).
