WebAquarian Dream played a mixture of soulful jazz funk and disco. The band were signed to Buddha records and later moved to the Elektra record label. They had little commercial success on either label but their music was both rich and enjoyable. Their track ' Phoenix ' was a popular Chicago club track and is still a favorite amongst disco funk fans. Webinvariably turn to. Aquarian Dream were part of the golden days of the disco scene. At their core was jazz, but they had taken the unique sound to another level. They were able to create jazz/funk, soul, disco and some beautiful ballads.
